On September 6, 2019, the San Francisco Opera Guild’s opening night ball magically transported guests from the streets of San Francisco to the lush gardens of Verona, Italy. At Opera Ball 2019: Capulets’ Masked Ball, patrons enjoyed an extravagant midnight buffet and cocktails following a grand dinner and Gounod’s breathtaking production of “Romeo and Juliet” at the War Memorial Opera House. The event successfully raised funds to support the many opera education programs for students in Northern California.
